Dr. Kyveryga research focus is on advancing methodologies for conducting and analyzing on-farm agronomic and environmental studies, improving agronomic decision making through developing on-line interactive decision management tools for farmers and agronomists.

Peter is also an Affiliate Associate Professor at the Department of Agronomy, Iowa State University, where he is engaged with the Iowa State University faculty and students in collaborative projects related to precision agriculture, remote sensing, data science, and soil health.

Peter is the Fellow of American Society of Agronomy and served twice as the Technical Editor-Precision Agriculture for the Agronomy Journal.

Role in SIRAC project

Peter is leading the establishment of the SIRAC pilot farmer network, organizing farmer survey and workshops, and developing farmer-friendly communication material. He will also contribute to the community integration with technology, social-economic analyses, developing data preservation protocols, and visual data summaries.
